Project Description
Scotts Motor Group is synonymous with Sydney’s destination for Honda used vehicles and car servicing. They pride themselves on providing their customers with exceptional service and the very best vehicles.
The existing facility was larger than needed to undertake day-to-day business operations so a new smaller and more efficient space in North Sydney was being considered.
Jensen were engaged at preliminary lease negotiations phase to assist with due diligence in relation to planning controls, compliance and build costings. Upon finalising the lease, Jensen were engaged to design and construct the new space which incorporates the new servicing workshop, staff offices and customer lounge.
Key Challenges
- Rapidly conducting due diligence work to assist Scotts Group in lease negotiations.
- Working closely with the private certifier, fire engineer and mechanical engineer to navigate around complex building compliance requirements and deliver cost effective solutions.
- Liaising across all divisions of Scotts Group to ensure each business units requirements were satisfied.
