Project Description
After winning the competitive tender, Jensen was appointed to refurbish this 100-year-old colonial-era terrace.
Jensen provided a turnkey solution by engaging all relevant consultants and overseeing the project from DA through to OC.
Jensen worked closely with the client to architecturally reconfigure and develop a bespoke design that both optimises in functionality and meets Newtown’s upbeat and artsy culture.
Key Challenges
- Managing increasing construction costs and reduced labour due to COVID-19.
- Sourcing alternative materials mid-project due to nationwide material shortages.
- Compact terrace required out of the box thinking to achieve a maximised floor plan which incorporates an additional bedroom and attic.
