Project Description
Having previously worked together on numerous commercial and residential projects with this client for over a decade, Jensen are proud to have been entrusted with revitalising their dated but character-filled family home.
The project consisted of several components including: a complete cosmetic facelift, services upgrade, incorporating a new lift core and remediation of all water ingress and damage issues inherent to such an old building.
Jensen’s design team were able to work closely with our construction team to consider the buildings existing structural constraints in developing the new plans which needed to include a new lift core.
Key Challenges
- Underpining the existing structural walls to enable installation of new steel beams and large open plan living.
- Fabrication of custom profile archways to match existing heritage character detailing.
- Identifying and remediating all water ingress issues on the roof and balconies.
