Project Description

The JCA is the communal hub of the NSW and ACT Jewish communities. JCA’s aims to serve their best interests through the raising and allocation of funds to support outstanding and cost effective programs and social infrastructure. Situated within Darlinghurst Jewish Museum building, the tenancy was in desperate need of an update to reenergize staff and volunteers working in the space. Due to the perpetual needs of the community, JCA’s office only has a brief window with which to carry out the works over Christmas (Channukah) and New Year’s break. Jensen drew on its robust relationships with its skilled tradesmen to heavily resource the project utilising the small windows of time to ensure maximum productivity. By preloading the site with materials prior to the shutdown of suppliers, Jensen ensured nothing was left to chance in completing works within the strict timeframe.

Key Challenges
  • Planning and programming works in consultation with the museum’s security.
  • Securing the manpower to deliver the fitout over the Christmas & New Year Period.
  • Substituting light fittings due to last minute delay of client specified light fittings.
We would highly recommend Jensen to others looking for a new office refurbishment. The team ensured that the work was completed during our short New Year’s break and were responsive to all our needs before, during and after the refurbishment. They proposed a solution to adhere to our tight budget and stayed within the budget and timeframe.
