Llewella Griffiths Architects (LGA) was engaged by a lovely young family to design a beautiful renovation to their heritage home located in Mosman. This included converting a study into a brand new ensuite to master bedroom, as well as refurbishing bathrooms and laundry.
After previously completing a heritage refurbishment together, LGA entrusted Jensen with the refurbishment of this character filled home. Jensen’s attention to detail ensured that the quality expectation across all details resulted in a beautifully finished home which was handed over one month early.
Key Challenges
- New ensuite drainage needed to be reticulated throughout the existing structure of the house with minimal impact to existing ceilings and spaces.
- Construction occurred whilst clients lived within the bottom half of the property requiring management and coordination of trades, access ways, dust control of and noise.
- Restoring the beautiful architectural features within the heritage listed property including timber skirtings, windows, architraves, tiles, cornices, ceiling roses and masonry.
