McMillen Jacobs is a global engineering consultancy and construction firm. The Sydney CBD team is primarily focussed on major tunnelling projects within Australia’s booming infrastructure and transportation sectors. In response to Australia’s growing need for tunnelling infrastructure, McMillen Jacobs have experienced substantial growth and were seeking to centralise several of their NSW offices into one location. After shortlising a space in the Dexus owned 44 Market Street, Jensen was tasked with providing a preliminary office fit out design which separated teams into pod groups. The open plan kitchen & breakout area encourage all staff to socialise and chat over a coffee.
- Working to strict building management requirements, which required extensive early and late night works
- Developing a cost effective and compliant mechanical solution to suit the new floorplan design
