Originally founded by Dr Peter Mouser and Dr Stuart Deane, Macquarie Oral and Maxillofacial Specialists is a specialist Oral & Maxillofacial practice based in the Sydney CBD. In recent years the practice has welcomed the addition of specialists Dr Andrew Thorpe and Dr Anastasia Georgiou.
The dated practice which spanned over two levels was proving to be too inefficient and cumbersome to handle the increasing patient load and provide the quality of service demanded by the surgeons.
Upon leasing a larger space in the same building, Jensen was tasked with creating a practice within the existing heritage building. The brief included a layout that was focused on achieving patient flow and efficiency, whilst the design focused on achieving a clean, contemporary and clinical feel at the same time as celebrating the character elements of this building.
Jensen Projects made a dedicated effort to complete the Macquarie OMS project outside of regular business hours, including night shifts and weekends works. Despite the tight schedule, Jensen successfully delivered all work on time and to the highest standards of quality.
- Working outside regular hours to ensure no interruptions to neighbouring tenancies.
- Creating a layout within the limitations of the existing structure and heritage elements.
- Liaising and coordinating with multiple time poor specialists.
