Project Description
GenBiome is a health clinic focused on individual medical care through tailored specific health programs.
GenBiome required a fitout of their tenancy which matched their vision of incorporating nature into the design with the integration of the latest digital technology.
By being engaged early during the design process and working closely with GenBiome and MorrisCo Design throughout the construction period, Jensen was able to deliver a space which surpassed expectations.
Key Challenges
- 7 Week ECI (Early Contractor Engagement) focusing on design resolution and value engineering
- Mechanical services reticulation, liaising with strata for approvals
- Highly detailed curved joinery throughout
We immediately clicked with Jensen when we first met and visited one of their work sites, to the point that we decided to work in reverse: we first chose our builder and then looked at which architect we were going to engage. A very strong “can do attitude”, rapidly understanding the concept we wanted to land. They are a motivated, young but experienced team supported by a committed and expert cohort of trades, a structured approach for the benefit of all, hands-on daily supervision. Constraints are seen as challenges to overcome in a very solution based approach without compromising on quality: we were very pleased with the result but also with the way we worked together to deliver the medical practice we wanted and a project very close to our heart.
