Project Description

Wildflower Holistic Services was created from a desire to generate sustainable solutions and practice child healthcare in a way that felt authentic, holistic, nurturing, and promoted all areas of wellness -the mind, body and spirit. From child psychological services and occupational therapy to sensory workshops and art therapy Wildflower encourages uniqueness and individuality.

In a bid to meet the growing local demand for their services, Wildflower leased a new larger premises which required an extensive fitout to make it fit for purpose to provide their specialised services.

Jensen were successful during a competitive tender for valued Clientside Project Management firm Toombs and Toombs. Jensen carried out the project on a D&C basis working closely with project stakeholders to develop ‘For Construction’ documentation and successfully deliver the specialised space.

Key Challenges
  • First floor slab had extensive deflection and Jensen developed a lightweight screed solution to achieve a level floor.
  • Minimising noise disturbance to ensure neighbours who shared common walls could continue business operations.
  • Developing piling methodology to achieve suitable bearing capacity for new lift core.
I really appreciated Jensen’s approachability and willingness to address all of my concerns, as well as bring our vision to light. Jensen happily answered all of my questions, broke down technical building terminology and made what could have been an extremely stressful process relatively seamless. The impact of their work extends far beyond the physical transformation of our space.
