Project Description
Warringah Place Retirement Village is a part of The Salvation Army’s (TSA) aged care retirement residency options. It is located in the heart of Sydney’s Northern Beaches, just a short stroll to Collaroy Beach.
After review of the villages facilities, TSA aged care and village management identified the need to refresh the common area to encourage social interactions with inviting communal spaces.
After an extensive ECI phase, working closely with The Salvation Army Management and Residents, Jensen was engaged to carry out the refurbishment and completed construction in time for Christmas 2020 handover.
Key Challenges
- Developing and incorporating a Work, Health and Safty management plan centred around COVID-19 safe construction practises.
- Maintaining a zero LTI (lost time to injury) construction programme.
- D&C contract with various design amendments during construction after input from key stakeholders.
